Freaking out Friday!!!!!

WOW!!! Today, or maybe I should say this week has been pretty rough with the babies. And josh too I guess. I'm ganged up on by 2yr olds all day and trying to raise a teenager in between. I need a vacation. I say that allot. "I need a break" but really what kind of break would it be? on the rare occasion that my husband an i get to go somewhere, i sit a think about the kids the whole time anyway! The curses of being a full time Mom. "What are they doing"? "Did they take a nap"? "How long was it"? "Did they eat ok"? "I hope Emma got her B and her blanket that she likes", I could go on and on. Nobody knows or takes care of your kids as well as you do....right???LOL
Anyway, the babies...I should say the toddlers are being very 2ish lately. They are all stubborn, loud, and whiny right now. If I say "use your words" one more time....well, nothing because I'm gonna say it a million more times! LOL I'm having to discipline more and more as the days go on! My sweet little babies changed to crazy out of their minds 2yr olds? I have to post some pics to remember truly how sweet they are even when their yelling and crying and destroying my ENTIRE house! You wouldn't believe how much damage 3 toddlers can do in the matter of minutes! I do love them with ALL my heart! They are worth every ounce of energy it takes to raise them!
I guess I just need to vent. I tend to ramble when i'm stressed. It's crazy how blogging your complaints can make you feel better. Either way, thanks for "listening" to whoever might read this.

These are old pics but they make my heart melt!

Brett in the ball pit, Carley posing, and Emma very excited!!!

New pictures....just because!

Daddy decided to take the babies to the ice cream truck for the first time. The idea is very sweet and i'm always excited about "firsts"...but, he got them THE worst kind he could. They had a great time eating it though. Needless to say they all melted. On the ground and all over them. When Emma's hit the dirt the dog came out of nowhere and snatched it up. Emma was so upset! She actually yelled at the dog for eating her melty dirty ice cream! I wish I had the video camera for that one!

Carley and Emma in thier favorite place....the pool! Emma is for sure the boss of the entire deck! She calls the shots. My friend Michele calls her "Deck Boss" LOL!

Pool time!

HAPPY EASTER!

What a great morning we had! The babies really don't know who the heck the Easter Bunny is but they sure do know that they LOVE candy! Especially in the morning. It's the only day that kids should be allowed to SAMPLE the candy when they get up.
We kept the baskets simple with just jelly beans and some M&M's. And Josh is officially too old to get a basket so he got a little gift bag FILLED with gum. He has a thing with gum??The babies liked the jelly beans allot. After they got done playing with the little toys the bunny brought them we had a normal breakfast. I made baked french toast. I have to say it's a really easy breakfast to make because you make it the night before. Just pop it in the oven in the morning and 40 min. later you have yummy french toast. Here's some pics from our morning.

AND THE TREE DRAMA NEVER STOPS!!! I HATE THIS TREE!

And here is that damn tree that is still laying in our yard. We're trying to save some money and do the removal ourselves....well, my husband is doing it. We all just watch! Today my brother in-law came over and helped out. They got most of it chopped up but it's all still there in a million pieces. Hopefully soon the pictures from the back yard will be tree free!

If a tree falls in the woods.........?

This morning I was in the kitchen making cookies and rolling meatballs when I heard this super loud cracking noise. I looked out the kitchen window and all these branches and pine needles were flying at the window. Right then, a huge pine tree in the back yard cracked right in half and fell towards the house and our fairly new shed! It scared the crap out of me! It's not the first time a big tree has fallen back there but it's the first time it fell at the house. What shocks me is that it didn't hit the shed. It did break a section of fence, the neighbors tree, the neighbors wood pile, and another small tree in our yard. It's just a huge freaking tree! That was our excitement for the day!

Horses and cows and fear....Oh my!!!

So we took the kids out to UCONN to see all the animals. Let me start off by saying that taking all 3 babies out of the car countless times to go into all the barns was NOT fun. But seeing their little faces light up was!

We started out at the cow barn. All was going well with the babies and Josh was even having fun. I was walking with Brett and as soon as he saw one of the cows in that barn he froze! Apparently, Brett is not a fan of large animals! He did look at them but didn't want to go anywhere near them. The girls, as usual, loved it. Emma and Carley were saying cow and mooing like crazy. The girls tend to be braver than Brett with most things. It cracks me up. All in all it was a good trip. Not the most convenient place to take triplets, but it was a fun family day.

Uncle Richard and Auntie Lou stopped over yesterday on the bike to show the kids. Now Brett is right in love with everything that has wheels. His favorite words are "truck", "car", "big truck', and "big cars". Uncle Richard took him out to the bike to see it and even sit on it. He was scared of that too. He can be a very nervous little boy about some things. At least this time his sisters didn't show him up. They were scared of the bike too!

You can't see it in the first picture but Brett is crying. In the second picture however, you can see Brett clinging to Daddy's neck! LOL I love my babies. They all have their own little quirks.
